…is a friend from college days – whose studio I visited, to check out the installation she just opened at Optical Project in Houston called Rockslide Rocksolid, featuring abstracted patterns of rough faux-rock – inspired by LA freeway retaining walls – silk screened on fine linen curtains and songs, “Landslide” & “Solid as a Rock,” performed & sung by Melissa played on limited edition vinyl….hoping we get to see this in LA.
