…is first continental rug in the series of crocheted cast-off clothes and linens that will travel from show to show, city to city around the continent for years to come, continually expanding, collectively crocheted as it is exhibited – today at Blood Mountain Foundation in Budpest, next week at the Hayward Gallery in London, then to the MAK in Vienna, and to Pollinaria in Abruzzo, Italy though fall 2012….who knows how big it will get, but today it is a colorful 1.5 meter diameter and getting bigger with busy hands all day.
