…at long last – having grown up surrounded by that familiar activity with knitting aunts and grandmother, a knitting mom who knit us sweaters and afghans, and a knitting sister who’ll make me an occasional hat or scarf in shocking colors when I’m lucky – was the highlight of the day at the Sundown Schoolhouse of Queer Home Economics.
