Dear Fritz,
I am an art teacher in Oakland looking forward to participating in the rug project at the BAM. I am encouraging families from my school to attend and participate. Coincidentally we are making our own braided rope project inspired by MLK Day this year, so the timing of your event is perfect. We plan to play with installing the rope around our campus before finally creating either a mat or basket with it. We will bring any extra materials we have to the museum, and I’d love to show you what we create if you’re interested.
