ANIMAL ESTATES: honeybee
The
beehive is an enclosed space, in which bees build their colony. The inside is
an open structure and the bees fill it with the comb.
The
honeycomb is made up of many hexagonal cells made of wax, which stack for both
spatial and structural efficiently.
The
cells become storage for pollen and honey, as well as larvae.
