ANIMAL ESTATE CLIENT: polar bear

Polar Bears dig their dens in the south side of a slope.

They create an oval cavity at least ten feet below the surface which insulates the den, which usually stays a constant temperature at or above freezing.

After giving birth in the new den, the polar bear goes into hibernation. When they awake, the young are old enough to venture outside of the den.
