* GREEN TENT *
> ecoshack >
This summer Ecoshack is sponsoring an international competition to design an environmentally sustainable camping shelter for use in the Mojave Desert in and around Joshua Tree National Park. Winners will be announced on August 25. Entrants have been asked for innovative ideas inspired by Southern California's 'green' lifestyle; ideas that explore nature, culture and experience. Ten days into the competition we have already received pre-registration emails from as far away as Venezuela, New Zealand, Wales and Iran. The proposed installation would consist of all the competition entries (we expect to receive 150 - 300).
