Creating parallels between water ecosystems and locational mapping techniques this piece contrasts underwater footage of marsh ecosystems in Lake Huron with actual mapping of Gardenlab participants in the hopes of creating space-time footprints through the use of radiotelemetry. These ‘maps’ of participant densities, (What are people looking at? What are they attracted to?), will serve as the foundation for an onsite folly constructed out of these coordinate relationships.
The piece will incorporate video projection of fish behavior with the corresponding maps of a control group formed from Gardenlab participants. These in turn will relate to new paradigmatic constructions of structural intuitions.
